Premier League – It’s official. When will the summer transfer…

first_img© immediate.co.uk – Premier League Yesterday 14:59 – After weeks of negotiations between club owners, the Premier League officially announced the opening and closing dates of the 2020 summer transfer window. The Premier League today officially confirmed that will open a summer transfer window from July 27 to October 5. The decision was made by the owners of Premier League clubs, who acted for several weeks and finally reached an agreement on 10 weeks, during which English clubs can sell and buy players. From October 5 to October 16, only the domestic transfer window will subsequently be opened, during which Premier League clubs can only trade with teams from lower English competitions, but not with each other. However, the least active transfer window in recent years is expected. This is mainly due to the precarious financial situation of many clubs due to the effects of the coronavirus pandemic.Jadon Sancho and Jack Grealish could be among the most expensive transfers of the summer. (source: skysports.com)There is already speculation about possible reinforcements of English clubs. So far, the most active in this regard is London’s Chelsea, which has already signed Hakim Ziyech and Tim Werner together for more than £ 80 million.Another big transfer could take place on the route between Aston Villa and Manchester United, which is interested in playmaker Jack Grealish. It is also associated, for example, with Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jadon Sanch.Newcastle United may become the black horse of the transfer window. If the Premier League dedicates its takeover to new owners, Newcastle can become the richest club in England and a major player in the transfer market.Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur or Liverpool, on the other hand, have previously signaled that they do not plan to have significant activity in the transfer market due to the financial situation..Where now?More information about Arsenal FC can be found here.More information about Chelsea FC can be found here. You can find more information about Liverpool FC at lfcway.com.More information about Manchester United can be found here. You can find more information about Tottenham Hotspur here.Vít Sedlák / SkySports.com, FotbalPortal.czlast_img read more
