Thompson, Fraser-Pryce, Dacres head Jamaica’s Athletics World Cup team

first_imgDouble Olympic sprint champion Elaine Thompson heads Jamaica’s 40-member to this year’s inaugural staging of Athletics World Cup, which will be in London from July 14 – 15.Jamaica’s team also includes Olympic sprint champion Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, Commonwealth Games 400m hurdles champion Janieve Russell and Olympic Games 400m bronze medallist Shericka Jackson.In fact, Thompson, who recently retained her 100m title at the National Senior Championships last month, will compete in the 100m.
