LOOK: Panthers QB Cam Newton honors Tree of Life victims with touching tribute

first_imgEach shoe had a different message. On his other foot, it read “Hatred Can’t Weaken A City of Steel.” Cam Newton honored victims of the Tree of Life congregation by sporting the message “Stronger Than Hate” during Carolina’s road trip to Pittsburgh. During pregame preparations, Newton was seen wearing cleats dedicated to the Steel City. The team placed yellow flowers near the entrance. With these flowers we extend our deepest sympathies to the Tree of Life congregation in Pittsburgh. #StrongerThanHate pic.twitter.com/WNUdV4Knfa— Carolina Panthers (@Panthers) November 8, 2018last_img read more
